Beginner Quilting Class with Sarah Bunkley
In this two part class you will learn all the basics:
- using a rotary cutter & ruler
- machine mechanics (you must bring your own machine)
- choosing fabrics for your projects
- how to sew a 1/4" seam allowance
- basic pressing
- squaring up blocks
- border basics
You will begin the pattern "Grand Square" by Missouri Star Quilt Co. in class one. Sarah will send you off with homework for class two.
Supplies needed: 2 charm packs (5" squares), 2 yards background fabric, and 1 yard border fabric. If you already have these, great! If not, you will receive 20% off all supplies you buy for class.
